You should have room some where to drill that hole in that engine bay.

would it be alright if i brought it through my wheel well a bit? my engine bay is so tight and the only spot i can drill is right next to the wheel well

mine runs about 1" through the wheel well, there was a grommet at the base of it, i just wrapped it in a little bit of rubber tubing and its worked well for the year and a half ive had it run through there.

and it even worked all through winter as well, all the wetness and salt had no effect on it whatso ever

o rly? i was worrried it may be an issue living here in canada with some nasty azz winters but i guess it should be fine...that is if i choose to run it through the wheel well

get under the car and look first. after that, if you can't find a spot you are comfortable with, go with the wheel well.

Yeah, there's gotta be a spot somewhere. Just make sure you estimate where it is and check on the otherside behind your dash and see if you're gonna drill into the heater core or something lol. My firewall metal was some tough shit though, I snapped 3 bits drilling through it.

drill a hole, get the grommit from an auto parts store

I've done it 3 times

or find a gromit and drill a hole through it that is a smaller diameter than your wire, lube the wire with shampoo and push it through...

I've done both multiple times
