Where do you get your HID kits at?

Im thinking of getting a kit for christmas and wanted to know where you got your kit at. I dont want any cheap shit thats gonna break in a few months.

A nice set of bi-xenon's will run you a pretty penny when you're done putting the peices together.

Do a search on Ebay...My Saleen has HIDs from Saleen...I rode in a friends GT with standard lights...at night...after being use to my car ...I wondered how he could see at night...lol

Mine have a perfect cutoff. It's all how you aim them, and hell, you can even buy a shroud now-a-days.

I'm fairly sure the average person has no idea how to set up the basics for cutting up their headlights.

Standard price for just labor appears to be almost double what my Apexcone setup ran me.

4.2-5K is perfect for driving, and ideal.

6K isn't bad at all. 8K is obnoxious.

The only reason I have 6K is it was the only kit on sale, and the discount was big enough to justify it.

I have the Oznium 8k kit in my Durango. While it is much brighter than standard lights, its not as bright or blue in color as other HIDs I have seen.

I have a double 6k setup in my rover.

6k Mcculoch Kit in the low beams brand new on ebay like 300 shipped..(more expensive but my last kit is STILL working as "Porch lights" for parties... literally lasted 4 years in my Montero - same bulbs)

6k "Euro Effects" kit off ebay.. 150 shipped.. Highbeams and they work great.

It IS ALL ABOUT Aiming.. if you have a good cutoff theres no reason to go projector. I had to do a retrofit in my montero because of my poor cutoff. took 12 hours for 2 headlights but looked perfect. Snagged some projector lenses off ebay for like 100 shipped and a LOT of Epoxy and Silicone.

The rover has clean enough cutoffs to give me a nice strict horizontal line on the fence at the end of the road.. (good for aiming).
