Where do i get 1khz test tone???

btw, to verify that the tone generated is 0dB, i attached a screenshot of the waveform in cepro. you can see that the crest of the sine wave is at 0dB.

You also can download a free 30day trial of Adobe Audition 1.5, which has a tone generator in it. I made a 60 second tone with it. Very easy to use for any frequency.

 
however, aren't you able to create tones at 0dB by simply setting the dB volume to 0dB?
you sure are...lol, Ijust checked. some of the screens have so much stuff on 'em, you miss the simple things...

I think adobe audition is the "new" cool edit (since adobe bought syntrillium I think).

yup, adobe audition is the new cool edit. it has the same interface/functions just a new name.
