see im not to knowledgable in this area so not sure on the kind. im lookin to build a whole new sub so whats the most common or easiest to use motor?

You probably want to try for the type with the tall top plate without the threads. That will bolt up to a standard 12 spoke pretty easily.

there any companys that sell this? or is there a link you know about that tells what kind of baskets this motor will fit? have you built a sub from motor on up? am i getting in over my head?

You could probably get one directly from TC Sounds but I don't think it will be cheaper than the one I linked you to. That style will be easy to work with since it has the standard bolt pattern. I don't think you'll be in over your head, just do a little research on the topic and go for it. Learn from experience.
