volume master

or

gains way to high.

so i guess it really depends which amp i get jbl i will have more room and the profile cl1200 is cheaper i dont really know lol

my brother had the gains all the way up an he also is a volume master as well...

no im talking about the profile amp i said it is cheaperit cost 209 but it doesnt put out near as much as the jbl amp.

sry i miss understood ya...

not to mention that the jbl will push ur subs harder...thats something to think about....

if you want to be safe about mounting your amp on your box, make like a 1/2" or 3/4" mdf peice thats the size of the amp, lay down sound dampener on both sides, carpet it and screw it in. That should be safe enough....

yea i was thinking a small foam pad or something to go up under it, wat about if the amp is at a 90degree angle, itll probably be the us acoustics amp i have that will be at a 90 degree angle, have yall had trouble with them overheating or anything, itl be runnin at 4 ohms so i dont think itll be that big of a deal???

thanx for all of your help i just dont know if i have enough room back there are u all talkin about mounting it on top of the box or on the front of it i think it would be easier on the top really especially if it is the profile cl1200 or cl800 but i dont know it is that amp is 10 inches wide

i dont know guess i will find out sooner or later hopefully sooner man my birthday can't come at a better time may 28th 3 days before the eDK's release my mom said she may buy my subs so that will be less money i have to spend so i may be able to get a better amp lol

thanx everyone

i measured my truck a min ago and i still dont think i would have room if i mounted it to the box cuz that amp is supposed to be 10 inches wide to that is y i was leaning more to the cl800 not as powerfull but a lil smaller

the cl1200 is huge especiall for my truck now if i had an extended cab maybe

HAHA. That's funny. US Acoustics overheat. I have never, ever been able to feel my amps running anything other than lukewarm.

Originally posted by grizzjwill go with the little extra money and have a smaller amp that will put out about 400 watts rms more than the other
the cl800 is the smaller amp lol and it is cheaper

oh yeah and another thing

one guy on here said to use a 1200.1 jbl amp but the 10eDk's im getting r only 325 watts rms and u all said the jbl's are underrated so could i just use the jbl 600.1
