when wiring for ohm load do i take in account for the .5ohms or so from the box?

so at least for most of my boxes i've used recently i've been getting something around .5 ohms of resistance with the box

this is based on doing calculation from measuring the coils not in a box and what the final ohm load is after putting it in the box - ie 2 coils reading at 3.6 ea wired parallel and at the terminal reading 2.3

in calculations should i figure this extra resistance or should i pretend it doesn't exist ?
