When to start kerfing on port???

I have a question about kerfs. my main question is when to start cutting the kerfs on the front panel for the port bend? Is there some kind of formula to go by? I know how to do kerfs (i'v tested on some pieces) but I dont know where to START the kerfs for the bend... anyone know? I can use google sketchup too

I would just practice on a 1/2" piece of MDF because then you will get a better understanding of it I just always end up doing shit the hard way sorry I was no help ={

Thanks man. Like i said, i know HOW to kerf and I can cut kerfs all day long without any blowouts or anything. I just don't know WHEN to start the kerfs for the port bend... Is it like this?

If that arrow is pointing to the start of the curve, then yeah you'd start the cuts there

i use sketchup
