When are these Cigarette companys gonna shut down?

We have far bigger problems to worry about than smoking. If this was the 90s and people still weren't fully aware, that's one thing. I hate cigarettes and people who smoke them around me, but it doesn't keep me up at night.

just imagine if they did shut down that is 400,000 less people a year dieing the united states would be incredibly over populated. im not saying they should die but maybe its god way of the cycle of life

1 out of every 5 deaths is caused by tobacco.

It is estimated that tobacco is responsible for 400,000 deaths in the US every single year.

Because tobacco reduces blood flow, nicotine addiction has been proven to cause impotency.

Among whites, 25.1% of men and 21.7% of women smoke.

Among black or African Americans, 27.6% of men and 18% of women smoke.

Among Asians, 21.3% of men and 6.9% of women smoke.

Among Hispanics/Latinos, 23.2% of men and 12.5% of women smoke.

Among American Indians/Alaska Natives, 32% of men and 36.9% of women smoke.

People living below the poverty level (33.3%) are much more likely to start smoking.

In 1988, the U.S. Surgeon General reported that nicotine is just as addictive as heroin and cocaine. A "hit" of nicotine reaches the brain in seven seconds, twice as fast as heroin injected into the vein.

Tobacco companies spend over 4 billion dollars each year on advertising.

Can you back up your "facts".

Umm, you just pointed out that roughly 1 in 4 people smoke in the US, which is approximately 75 million people ...
So, to answer your question (which should be blatantly obvious to even the most retarded people), they're not going anywhere anytime soon.

If people choose to smoke, they should have the option.
Truth...

Smoking is our nations population control.
Wrong...

We do have MUCH bigger problems than worrying about smoking. But, it is a cover up issue. People make a big deal out of it to cover up the real problems.
