When are 45's needed???

right now i'm in the middle of building a enclosure for an 18" Audioque and i'm waiting to see if i need to put 45degree angles in my corners......so when are these angles needed...what do they do?

haha...i had to read that a couple of times to figure out what you meant..but lol anyways

9 times out of 10 they will help. Might not be noticeable in all situations but do it anyway.

They even out the pressure transfer in the enclosure. That equal pressure helps keep a more consistent pressure on the port.

Using them inside a port is for a different purpose though. That's so the air mass doesn't slam into a perpendicular surface at 90* bends. With a 45* angle in place, the air mass change directions easier and with less eddy currents (turbulence). The 45 also helps keep the air mass the correct amount for the calculated tuning frequency.
