whats your thoughts?

Building an amp box for behind my seat. top of the box can be 2-3 inches and bottom can be 5-6 inches. I have 2 options.

Build a 3D box, which im sure I would use fans for cooling (4 maybe, push-pull).

Or 2D wall and mount the amps on them. (but fear doing this because of heat issues and I dont want to hit thermal protect. Jacob sorta recommended doing fans but he said we could really go either way.

I live in houston Texas. The amps are 2 Sundown 1000D's and Sudnown 100.4. 1000D's will be run at 2 ohms. I have a all black truck.

What should I do?
