In the Civic I was driving, when beating on it, I got around 39mpg.

But in the Tahoe, I get something like almost 390miles from a tank, or roughly 14-15.5mpg.

i get like 270 tops per tank in my truck. is the tahoe stock? what motor and gearing? stock tire?

my girls 03' tribute get's about 18.5 doing mostly city, highway bumps it up to about 22-23. tis nice
