i went to a tech school years ago and took telecommunications,only bad thing is to make good money you have to go to a big city.

I am a senior lab technician at Aviation Laboratories. We test oils, hydraulic fluids, and some fuels. We check them for various things in the fluids/oils that arent supposed to be there. Like, water, metals, and other crap. This also determines the amount of wear on the engine, and how much life expectancy is left.

I make decent enough money to have nice toys. And I failed technical school, and college. LMAO. Dumb people have GREAT jobs.

Soon, I will start my own business on the side, dealing with automotive things, I.C.E., suspension, performance, and other stuff, AND, I will, in this biz, build choppers.

Maintenance Supervisor at an Assisted Living Community....

for those who don't know, an "assisted Living Community is like a step up from a nursing home. Most of the people there can take care of themselves pretty well, just need a little "assistance", so to speak. Oh and even though "Maintenance Supervisor" sounds kinda fancy...the only one I supervise is myself, I am the maintenance departmet. We have 40 rooms in the place and I keep the toilets unclogged, the lightbulbs changed, the A/C-Heaters running,etc...not to mention keeping the grounds up (thats almost a full time job in itself, to be honest..it wouldn't hurt my feelings one bit if they hired a lawn company or someone else to do it...in the summer and spring it takes 3 days to mow/edge/weedeat/weed the flowerbeds, etc) So anyway, you get the idea....and I do love my job, its something different every day and i have learned a lot of new stuff since I started a year ago.
