Because they're cheap compared to what most people run on here They only have 2 soft spiders and a little crappy 4 layer 2-2.5" coil.

seriously how does the low end sound on those subs? im seriously thinking about buy 2 for the hell of it since they are so cheap

For the price, their not bad.

I had (2) 12's for about 2 weeks. Get decently loud, SQ wise their trash.

And, to me, they seem poorly made. The surround is too thin for me, and the covering on the magnet seems too weak, also.
