whatever...it's all classified in there....lol...I just throw all that into one genre...I don't get big into it...and I like Metallica...best is an opinion on preference...sorry you don't feel that way...I've probably never heard one Iron Maiden song in my life...

That's one thing on music, everyoen has different tastes.It does make for interesting conversations.

Unless they're really into that style of music, most people haven't ever heard of them.I've only heard them played on the radio in the US 1 time.Their main fanbase isn't even here in the states.

I am aware it isn't all one genre...but instead of breaking it down...I decided to list it like that...and Metallica is the "closest" I will come to Metal...whether they are or aren't I don't care...I do not like Hard core heavy metal one bit

No, Iron Maiden does not do that deep screaming/growling bull shit (which I hate).The band was originally formed in the mid/late 70's.They've been successful for this long for a reason.

Bruce Dickinson does scream every now and then but mainly it's at concerts trying to get people pumped up.For songs like "the trooper" and "number of the beast", but it's not like what you're talking about.That one cd is more "laid back" if you will than past albums but you can tell any day that it's still Iron Maiden.

BTW:The few times he does scream, such as in the number of the beast.It isn't really like that low/growling shit.

They have too many good songs to snigle some out.But Hallowed Be Thy Name is one of my favorites.
