simply because of mw2. carry it everywhere. Not had to use it for anything defense wise... yet but I like having it just in case.. lol

That seems a bit overkill for what I'm currently looking for! Of course if I plan on playing rambo anytime soon that will definitely be a contender.

Its very heavy, and the blade is really thick, and has lasted a very long time..Been a very good knife..Old Timer makes a great knife as well,or they used too. I havent bought any knives for past 6 years..Used to have a collection of over 1200 at one time..But Bucks are very reliable,and hold up well.

Yeah currently a Buck Bantam BLW is at the top of my list due to being more budget friendly while still being made in USA (US Assembled at least). Followed by a Kershaw Skyline or SpyderCo Dragonfly.

Washington state has laws against carrying a blade longer than 3.5 inches. Even if you have a concealed weapons license issued by the FBI, as I do, you can't carry a concealed knife so you have to open carry it.

Id really like to look into an all around good survival type knife.I have several that will get the jobs done in the woods that I need to, but would really like to get a one in all knife..Saw, Cut,Skin,ect knife that holds a nice edge

Check knifecenter.com, look for cold steel, you should be able to find what you need. Might even look for gerber as well dude.
