what's wrong with my speakers?

i need some help. My front speakers and tweeter are acting very odd. they will come in and out at random. but when they go out they aren'y gone, they just arent as loud. they don't get crackly or anything. the just aren;t all there. they dont do it all at once either. i checked all the connections to and from my amp and such but i really have no idea what could be causing this. can anyone help me out as to where at least start? any help is greatly appreciated.

chica, not brah. =p ummm lets see. i'll just list everything.

my head unit is a pioneer deh-p590IB

front speakers: JL tr690 txi

tweeters: JL tr050 CT

back speakers: JL tr650 cxi

sub amp: JL A1400

speaker amp: JL A6450

is the amp going into protection or anything? is it only during certain songs or at certain volumes?

hmm i dont think its going into protection. and it doesnt seem to be at certain volumes either. and its just any song. lol i'll just be driving down the road and all of a sudden one will just get quiet then it just comes back all of a sudden. its super random.

Could be the radio preouts going bad. or it could be a short somewhere in your speaker wire.

hmm . I'm not sure if it happens when i'm parked too since i only listen to it when i'm driving. i'll have to test that out. but if it was only when i'm driving what would that mean? grounds?

check all your wiring grounds power rca's and even the wires connectin to the speaker it maybe touching something.

its either an rca issue, wiring, or one of your amp's channels is acting funny. check output at the amp and let us know whats up.

i believe maybe it was a ground that was causing he issue. i found that the one wasnt really secure . and i screwed it down and it didnt cut out at all on my way to and from class today. hmmm
