whats with all the scams and deals lately?

i just got done reading about zachzchw being bashed and flamed for something i don't understand. avstang02 was supposedly a scammer, the guy with the ps2 was supposedly a scammer as well. aemracerx IS a scammer. it seems like every other thread i read is about "so and so is a scammer" or "so and so cheated me" etc. wtf? this shit just pisses me off. as for zachzchw, i may not kno what went on between avstang02, but i CAN and WILL vouch for zachzchw not being a scammer. ever since my ebay transaction back in september, he kept in touch with me to this day and has helped me, by trying to get my 2 blown amps fixed, then sold me his 2500d for $350 shipped, and an in-dash, wiring etc. nothing bad ever happened. perfect transaction both ways.

what is everyones deal lately? seems like there's so much ****ing e-drama on this site now. ****ing A. i remember 2 years ago it was nothign but helpful people and good info, but now, it's all supposed scammers, and flaming/bashing people. wtf?

umm your really lost arent you? zachzchw was a stupid *** and created fake names to accuse avstang02 of scamming over a PS2 that never existed. Mods already verified zach has 3-4 names and was the one making the false claims. So I guess thats so much for your defense of zach huh?

as for scammers, as long as a noone enforces good trading practices this place will be rampant with scammers. Maybe if guidelines were in place and a global reference system was in use like heatware.com, as well as using a service like trollhunters all this scamming wouldnt take place. Would it disappear completley? no but it will decrease by 95%.

You're such a n00b. Most of the old members vacated the site long ago. And the site was flooded with new younger members. Immaturity is a common thing now. Say around the start of 2005 it started to decline. Now 1/2 of every thread started is a for sale thread, and 1/4 of the rest is BS and lounge posting.

I predict by 2008 this site will be a car audio classifieds only lol.

not necessarily, but i wanted to find out what happened with zach (seeing as how i was involved in a big transaction with him), but also, i just wanted to vent about all the ****ing e-drama and douches here (the younger, new ppl). i learned so much through this website it can actually seem like i kno what i'm talking about in some instances and be proud i could help someone the best i could. but i have somewhat starting migrating over to eca.com as well. time to get more technical in details about stuff. i used to love this place. now it's just...declining as you said. gayness.

lol. well it was for 2 reasons. to find out what happened, and also to vent in general. i work overnights (10pm-7am) so i'm not here during the "primetime" to witness all the drama that is ca.com. i go to sleep around 12pm or 1pm til 9pm and go to work from there.

There should be a sticky at the top of the Used Car Audio page that is called ***STICKY: List of Scammers NOT to buy from*** and everyone who has been a proven scammer should be listed. It's easier than reading through feedback and it gets down to the point....buy from this person: yes or no.
