We have almost too much funding, lol. We're the nation's premier pulsed power and power electronics center. We just recieved a 6.6million dollar grant as part of some defense bill Bush signed. My first microcontroller class involved HC12s; I made an MP3 player with it.

Nice. The biggest thing I did with the HC11 was control a weather station we put on the roof of the college. All pretty basic stuff, but fun none the less.

Gotta have a PhD to work here, or be a graduate student. I should be done with all this stuff next may at the earliest, December 2009 at the latest, then I get to go make the real bux!

as far as who makes the most...

im 23, my mother is 50 somthing, she is a dental assistant works about 40 hrs a week, i work about that if not less, and on a good week ( i work commision) i can make more then she dose in 2 weeks

but then again on commision, if i have nothing comeing in i make nothing..

around christmas time i make about 900-1000 a week, not includeing 400-800 with window tinting.

but it's still not enough monies!

my roomate is an installer and window tinter allso..
i have good budy that makes about 50k just installing clear bra's on the fronts of car's and dose the color, or smoked tinted headlights and tailights.

for some reason thats hard to believe cause, if u make 70k a year then why do u have a roommate? dont make sense but ok

Sometimes on the weekends ill work as Opposition Forces to help train deploying units going to Iraq. It's fun since I get to dress up like a Insurgent and run around the woods with a AK-47. Pay for both jobs is pretty good.

I work a The CIty, the new concept stores for circuitcity. I basically run the front end, dealing with customers and run the register. Get about 35 hrs a week and i get 9.50hr. Should be getting a raise soon.

At first i started in car installation, but they dont have enough hrs back there. I should be moved back there soon, and make monthly bonuses based on how much work i get done.

UPS World Freight Facility, open shipping containers and watch my buddies destroy shit with forklifts. Ok job except my new ******* supervisor. Pays for college 100% and get bonuses for being in school, and full time benefits, best insurance in the world, and stock options blah blah benefits out the ***.$10/hr

rent wheelchairs and oxygen to 95% of the airports in the world...so chances are if you see a wheelchair at a airport ive had my hands on it. We refurbish them and rent them or just sell new ones. I get to travel across the continent and sometimes world for free with overtime ALL the time except when im in the hotel room. I get 2 weeks vacation a year then after being there 5 years i get 5 weeks vacation. All paid. I get all benefits. And have pretty cool laid back bosses. Best job ive had so far.
