I work for a storage management company...literally sit in my office and do absolutely nothing for 6-7hrs out of my 8hr work day.

My tech support is actually storage tech support.

Part timers were getting that much 15 years ago at UPS.

i radiate ppl all day long and sit on ca.com for the majority of my 8 hr shift, (12hr sometimes) depending if i wanna work 3 or 5 days usually do 5 now

I machine Flywheel Housings for International Semi's and Buses.

Mine's a little harder to explain. My company makes moisture meters for sawmills. I am a tech for them, which means I design, build, repair, install and do phone support.

It's a pretty good job, since it is very diverse. I do lots of different stuff. And I have seen pretty much all of Canada and the states. I got paid to go to Mardi Gras. I also got paid to tour around Australia for a couple weeks last fall.

Pays alright, but since we're slow right now, and I'm not getting any OT the checks have been pretty small.
