whats up with this "source list" on ebay

i keep seeing stuff on there selling a source list for wholesale dealers n stuff. to me it screams rip off, but people are still buying them. are they worth it, how do they work? or, even better, DO they work?

thats what i thought. but when there is so many people that "bid" on them that i couldn't tell.

One with general common sense would assume this, but have you had experience with them? I have never known anyone who made a bid on that type of auction, so I would like to know how these scammers continue to do it.

you would think with how much you see it on there e-gey would ban them. i almost bought something on there and it was one of those wholesale list's. i some how doubt that u can get a w7 for 100 bucks.. come on, no one is marking them up that much.

I would say if you haven't bought one, you don't know. What I've seen is that guys get a trade magazine with a list of distributors and then sell that information.

So not really a scam (since you are getting what you paid for) but there is information available much more cheaply elsewhere.
