What's up with the ads in the threads now?

and if it's just a money thing, a lot of the forums i am on have donations. i am sure that a lot of people on this site would paypal 5 bux. it can't cost that much to run these things. and with the amount of people on this site, 5 bux from a majority of the members would be a lot of $$$

Yes, but why does it have to be in the middle of threads and its the exact same ad that's on the top of the page.

But thats a moot point now because they are gone.

they really dont bother me..i can understand wanting to get a little $..if i owned the site id do the same thing. As long as the companies placing ads dont have influence over whats said in the forums they are ok with me. Now if like pyle started advertising a bunch and all threads saying pyle sucked were deleted..that would be cause for concern..but come on we all have broadband (if you dont then step into the late 90's and get it) so it doesnt take any time to load those tiny *** ads. And just so people dont say im trying to **** up...f*ck you admin.

Yes, but a box builders sig. is not benefiting anyone but yourself.Now they're making money with these ads............. a box builders sig. isn't bringing any money in for the people that run this place.
