whats up from the OC?

Just wanted to drop in and say hi to all, I just recently moved here to Orange County, Ca from Oklahoma and loving it here

I been into car audio for about 12 years now, my first setup was the famous PPI A600.2 Art Series going to 3-JL 10w6's and a PPI A204 to a reference line of MB quarts and that system was awesome, I used the core system the ppi amps and the subs over the last 10 years in my different cars changing out components and head units along the way.

Anyways, I try to keep up with this stuff as much as possible but let me tell ya, it has changed alot and it keeps changing. My plans for my next system are to go all MTX.

Hello and welcome to the forum. You find that this forum is more geared to non-mainstream compaines. Compaines like FI, RE, IA, AA, are very popular around here, and for a good reason. They are very very well built, they are relitivly cheap and there performance tends to speak for its self. People still do run mainstream equipment but before you plan on going all MTX look around at some of the other companies, there are a lot of choices out there, and some amazing products. Look forward to seeing you on the forums...

As KickerLivinLoud stated, before you delve into a MTX-based setup, browse around the forums and do a lot of searching. You will find tons of useful (and a ton of non-useful, i am afraid) information here. Enjoy!
