What's two good subs for kicker kx 2500.1

I'm thinking two 15' or two 12's

I've been overpowering a set of tens for some time now and I would like to try to match up amp and subs this time

My amp is 2500 watts at 2ohms, I've heard people have run this amp at 1ohm but for the lil extra power gain I would rather not do that

I'm running a DC 275xp and stock alt should be plenty to run this amp and truck

Lots of great 600-1000 watt subs out their and lots of 2500+ subs that look great. I just don't see a lot of 1250-1500 watt subs. Going in back of a quad cab gmc. I can either flip seats down or take out back seat, so I have lots of airspace. I may pay someone to design a box.

What are some good subs that will work for me? I need dvc 2ohm or single 4ohm coils and I would like price range 200-250 per sub and I kinda liked the sound I got from my last sub it was a mtx950012 in a mtx factory ported box. That was back in 2006 tho but back then it sounded pretty good and hit a wide band of notes. But I bet there is better and cheaper subs out now.

Audioque HDC3s come to mind, but there are a ton out there rated a 1k a piece.

Sry about freaking out yesterday. My grandfather who is 83 is in real bad shape and could pass any day. Yesterday while looking at subs and reading reply's in here I got the call and wasn't sure if I would make the hour drive in time. He had a small stroke yesterday and after 3-4 hours he pulled through it. It seems he is holding on for grandmother they have been married 62 years and never been apart.

On a lighter note. Just to get my mind over this I have been checking out the subs y'all have talked about and the psi platform two looks like it would be best one for me even though its a lil over my price range
