that's kinda like if you watched a great politcal impression on SNL, or that guy who does impersonations of bush from mad tv, or ares spears doing an impersonation of rappers 20 or 30 years from now, and called it 'bad' because it wasn't funny to you

politcally aimed satire taken out of frame of reference doesn't necessarily make it bad, it just doesn't mean anything to you

a lot of people from the baby boom generation hail dr. strangelove as one of the best movies of the 20th century

it's basically a spoof on the cold war, and the key political players in that era

it makes no sense to me, not the least bit funny, but that doesn't make it a bad movie, it just wasn't written for me, or people in this generation, who weren't around then
