Whats the positves and negatives of going sealed or ported

im not sure i can honestly say IMO that there are negatives to going ported.

I my box ported to 30hz, I cannot hear(feel) a 20hz test tone very much at all.

i was sealed with my t1s...it was loud..but when i went ported it was like day and night...ported way louder...but my ported box sucks for rock music...sounds sloppy..juss my 2 cents
