what's the maximum amperage possible through these ATX plugin cables?

hi... i've been wondering what's the maximum current allowed through these cables - if all the wires are wired up together, as i've been willing to use them for car audio installations...

i've been thinking of using this along with a female version of this cable as the positive wire, and some other couple for the ground one, for easily removing and connecting amplifiers and other power hungry stuff...

any idea?

they sell quick disconects for 4 gauge wire... i would run those it would seam alot safer to me. or just run in line fuses so u can just unscrew one end real quick thats what i did.. one for ground one for power

Yup, I'd get the quick disconnects. See them a lot on battery chargers... for large equipment.
