whats the loudest you scored with around 500 watts...?

i have around 500 watts @ 2ohms to work with... im lookin for a spl subwoofer that will get low in a ported box... maybe a 15...? suggestions...?

Getting loud with low power means you have to focus you efforts on the box, not the sub. You're not going to have much luck with any SPL oriented sub though as they're not meant to be efficient and usually have very stiff suspensions. That means it's going to be very hard to get low and loud with them without a great box. Worry about an efficient sub and then focus on getting that box just right.

Around a 141 legal @ 38hz on TL playing music. 2 Sony Xplod 12s and 2 Soundstorm (flea market) 200w amps.

Was actually loud as hell for the power, probably around 400rms total.

Many SPL are actually very effecient....more so than other lower power handling subs
