Should I really invest in a 4-Channel amplifier for two sets of components in a regular cab pick-up truck.
I ask this because both components are based at the front and both are 4-ohm's. Wouldn't my current amplifier: Profile AP1000
A two-channel amplifier, would suffice, because if I wired both 4-Ohm sets to this amplifier the final amplifier impedance load would be 2-Ohms, which would output around 225watts split between two component sets, giving each set 112.5 watts each.
That is if the power output of the amplifier is true.
