I know they look similar but the price difference is pretty significant. Whats the difference between the two and is it worth it to go with the more expensive one.

ones a regular pioneer, one is a pioneer premier that has a 2 year pioneer warranty, which is void if you buy it from ebay and other online retailers that are not authorized pioneer dealers.

SQ / Featurewise im pretty sure they are identical...it's cool for a radio to say premier then pioneer though.

i actually think the premier looks cheesey. Its not as clean as the ones witth plain pioneer on the top

You can go to Pioneer's website and compare the 2 receivers via the compare features checkbox. There isn't much difference other than the auto equalization and auto time alignment. Like another saidm unless bought via an authorized dealer the warranty differences ( 1 yr versus 2yr for the Premier ) don't matter at all. No way of knowing if any of the internal components are different or of any different quality levels. Feature wise they are very similar. Good luck!
