So those cobolt volt meters are like $75, but there are cheaper ones that run about $25.

And there are DMM's at pepboys for $15 that measure voltage.

Whats the difference between the cheap ones and the expensive ones?

I mean...its not like its going to get thrown around and abused, its just going to sit inside the dash board and measure voltage....

Any input on this?

accuracy abilities durability reliability...
what kinds of abilities?

I really just want one that I could mount in my dash so I can keep an eye on my voltage. My cars a daily driver, so I just want to be able to get a ball park guess of when I should turn it down a little.

but I mean...I don't want to spend $30 on one and have it break or something. These things last forever, right? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

if you're asking then the $25 is the one you need

the higher priced are more accurate and usually give voltage down to the .001

but since its just car audio and you don't need to be dead accurate get the budget one
