K well im somewhat new to the car audio game..and ive noticed that around here most people dont like audiobahn..an ive heard them before they hit hard an sound pretty good..wats wrong with them..why does everyone dislike them?

they sound like shit. don't know what you were listening too, but sq sucks. there like loud fartings ***** or something to that affect.

ok...i've heard 3 abahn setups.....2 1200q (12's) in a SEALED box off an RF power amp 400x2......1 flame q 10 off an RF 401s amp (400x1) underpowered in a sealed truck box.....and two 12" natural sound subs in a sealed truck box off an abahn 8002t amp......they all sounded decent except the high excursions.....when the kid first got em, everybody was like "man they're loud as hell and yada yada" then everybody else said they crackled and distorted......when i first heard them i was disappointed.....IMO, horrible sq for any price, above average spl for the price......i think they should make a sticky about why everyone hates abahn.......

I have heard some bahn subs before. My friend had two 12's in a sealed box. They got pretty loud, but the SQ was horrible. I forgot which models he had, I'd have to ask him.

well, audioban use to be good until they got into the whole DUB stuff. They are more into the showroom compeititions instead of the SPL drag races. Every one has there own tastes, Audiobahn is just a DUB thingy thats all...

Majority of the products are poorly built and poorly designed aswell.

I've got a friend that runs a AWT12X in his Intrepid off a JBL 1200.1 and a huge ported box. It gets ungodly loud, but sounds awful...really awful.
