whats the deal on cdt subs

has anyone ever heard them?

im in the market for a new 12 incher since my sh!tty mb quart discus decided to stop working.

anyway, im lookin to spend about 150 on the sub, and since i love my cl comps i figure the subs may be good also.

if you have never heard them, offer up your opinion of the best sub around 150 bones, definetly under 175.

oh yea, and im an sq guy, i need my bass no too boomy and very tight and accurate...something my quart never did

I have never heard them, but I 'hear' that they are very good SQ drivers.

I would try out a Type R though (I know it sounds a bit redundant)... In a box tuned somewhere around 28Hz, you should have very nice SQ put out from one of them.

right now, i use an admittedly shity prefab 1 cube box but i plan to get a custom one made a little down the road

I hear there for like classical music, very precise, amazing SQ...im guessing their output isnt that great though

mb quart 12's go in 1 cube. any of their lines. I had the premium line before.very accurate.not very loud. Alpine type R on ebay for 100bucks. RE se 12's are around $180 shipped.

The first video shows them getting pretty big excursion if ya ask me. Wouldn't mind trying them out actually.
