What's the best way to seal the edges around sub wire?

If I'm running a subwoofer box without terminal cups, and the wires are going into the box through two small holes, what's the best way to seal them? Silicon doesn't seem like it would keep the wires in place if they were to get yanked on.
Thanks
gorilla glue/epoxy the wires inplace and then just incase cover the glue with silicone

I put about a 1 inch layer of silicon around the wire, there's no way it's going anywhere, but if you want I guess some wood glue would work also.

It helps on mine that they were tight to begin with. There was almost no space at all around the wire.
