Great information Rudy!. I love how you did not use this opportunity to spam unlike the class act that posted after you.Any of the high performance butyl/aluminum foil vibration dampers will stay on the roof with no problem at all. It can get very hot up there, but not beyond anything butyl can take.
I think the best approach for a rood is to start with a vibration damper and follow that with a layer of closed cell foam. While thin layers of foam won't absorb most of the lower frequency noise we deal with in cars, they will help with the high frequency noise caused by air turbulence. Also provides an extra bit of thermal insulation where you need it most.
That was just to sugar coat the uber SPAM.That tells alot about a company when they recommend other products from other companies and not just their own. That's why Damplifier Pro is going on my stangs doors. Hope to get some more of your products when the funds become available!
Tell me about it. The truth hurts so much that he banned me permanently from his forum. He really must be angry.so much anger
Saw you sent a PM regarding some deadening. What do you have? I might be interested in some depending on what you had.sent
Yea I just read through that one thread... WOW. I am probably going to try out some of the SDS products. Pricing seems to be really good. Not going to knock SS though because I'm not apart of any of that drama and the Damp Pro I have is still a good product. That was just to sugar coat the uber SPAM.
It tells a lot about a company (Rudy's), when they provide great info instead of taking advantage of every chance to plug products.
