I am familiar with kickers recommendations, but I have the extra space to go bigger/tune lower which I want. Whats a good size/tunage for a low tuned box?
would 1.2 cu ft at 28hz be ok? 3" aero
Im just sick of a peaky ported box....
I like a low tune, but most boxes fall flat up high....50hz etc
ive had a box that runs at 35hz and it wasnt boomy and hit the lowlow notes well and boxes that where big and tuned flat or low that sounded worse so when oyu go away from the manuf recommeded boxes expect some trial and error
