I know you guys will love this one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

so anyways that's my story, new project can begin soon. I just have to figure out how I'm gonna fit these bad boys in the doors, and I'll have to get some fiberglassing advice from you experts.

I'd like to thank Req for selling me these nice drivers. A+ deal (once we actually got in touch with each other)

ok now here's the fun stuff. The holes I have in my door go back pretty far, I'm not sure how far but I'd have to measure. I'd like to try and extended the width of that current speaker spot for the kodas because of that depth and fiberglass an enclosure back there. extended the plastic door part won't be hard( I don't think) but that metal part of the door could be difficult. Do you think just trying to extended the width is a good move? I'd like to keep these bad boys in the doors and avoid kickpanels if possible.

tell me your thoughts

turn your flash on next time and put it on action setting please //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

they look nice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

Not sure what vehicle you are putting them in, but just make sure there is enough clearance for the window to roll down...I upgraded from 5.25's to 6.5's in my '95 monte, and they just barely cleared the window. I also had to widen the hole with some tin snips and angle grinder.

thanks for the good note chevman. i was very sad to see them go. but what i couldnt fit - you have a better chance of doing.

if you break one of those - i will be VERY unhappy.

are you going 2-way? how high can those kodas go?

looks good, i wanna see some pix of the horns //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

mean girls = sweet movie.

the first couple pics are from the extra bedroom we have.

kodas range from 63hz - 700hz I believe? I don't feel like taking pics of the horns, just know that they are 22" long and are very very harsh, they need EQ work badly. lol

yea you better get them pix //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

your horns look a helluva lot easier to install, mounting depth is good.

u sure u can drop the horns low enough to meet up with the kodas though?
