Hey im looking at getting two 12s or 1 15 in a ported box. my trunk limitations are 34w x 27d x 17h. I was looking at getting either 2 12 FI BLs or 1 15 FI BTL. not sure which one or what i should do with my trunk limitations. well as of right now im planning one putting like 2500 watts noto sure which amps im going to get because my system right now is only 750 watts. My cars a 99' pontiac grand am and as far as my electrical im pretty sure its stock as i bought the car used. I understand ill have to atleast get a new batter and do the big 3.

and i wont be able to check back on this thread till about 4pm est so ill be checking up on it then

In your situation, I would use a single 15" BTL in a nice big ported box. Power it with 2500w. Make sure to at least do the big 3 and new battery, maybe even a second battery in the trunk.

what amp do you suggest i use to get 2500w? thats one of my main problems :| not sure which amp to get. And just curious why would it be better to get one 15" BTL? Thats what i was thinking anyways but i think i might only be able to get about 4^3 ft. (thats what im just guessing) and do you think it would be fine that the height is limited to 17 inches?

you're gonna need a bigger alt. running dual batteries will only make it worse, get an alt and big 3 and go from there
