I would never put a sound system in wife's Honda...between the massive amount of gum wrappers, snot rags, spare change, and grocery receipts, in a week any SPL would create a driving hazard due to the trash blizzard.

2 pairs of pioneer premier coaxials,

2 infinity kappa perfect dvc 10's

Kenwood KAC 7201

and a MB Quart 4.60

Kicker zx300 mono amp

Critical Mass SS82 (just one) in sealed box

She could of cared less about having it, but when I changed it out, because her stock unit went bad and added the sub she loves it! I don't think she will have a car w/o some kind of sub in it! I really want to upgrade the HU, it was one that I've used for the past 4-5 years in different vehicles and just had it laying around at the time, but it continues to work perfectly. And she is one to only replace it if its broke and doesn't really believe getting one for upgrading or just to get something new!

gf loves bumpin around all over the place, I always hear her comin before she pulls in the driveway, listens to mostly rap. Has 'needed' subs in her last 3 cars, after I put a set of duel 12's in her first car hahahah, obviously a bit better now.

mine has an 07 cali special gt mustang stock shaker 500 system with a dd 3512 in a sealed 2cub box with arc kar 1000 amp.

whats the shaker system sound like?

Yup. It's the highest on Rockford's specs but I got the box before the sub for cheap and then I got the sub at a pawn shop for 50 bucks! Can't beat that with a stick!

My wife's 2011 Genesis Coupe has the stock premium sound system with NAV but she didn't like the factory sub. As a result, I put a dual 2 ohm True Bass 8 in there with a 500 watt Lunar L1500 @ 1 ohm. I have the amp and PAC SOEM-T turned all the way down and it blends perfectly with the stock setup that has a factory center. I think she set her mids and highs a little on the bright side for me, but that's how she likes to listen to her setup, so, if she's happy, I'm happy.

My only complaint is that I built a test box out of particle board shelving, and she won't let me rebuild it with Birch. Oh well...
