whats a strong 4 15's setup

Im looking into doing 4 15's my next system power can be from 4k to 12k I just want it to out perform my 2 18 xl's on a ia 40.1 at .5 in an 03 tahoe subs facing up port back

well it had to power 12kw unless you have 2 300 amp Alts..

dude 4 15s with 4 kw will smoke that 18..

I'd say grab you a couple fi audio bl15s with another 40.1 and call it a day..

it is...amd its doubled walled with big wooden dowell support braces...there was a lot put into it...

i saw 4 sealed xl 12's in a hatch do 160.1 soo...im gonna say another 40.1 and 4 xl 15's or daves idea with the 9515's

I don't understand the trouble..

the Bls will smoke them..

you might have put up 153 on a good day with the 4 15s you will put up a 155 on a bad day..

who cares what he was hitting..

properly designing the box for the 15s is the focus here..

4 9515s will require too much power and moving to xl 15s still gonna require too much power..

the key to getting loud is efficiency matching cabin gain and getting power to the woofers efficiently.

buying 4 very high power subs will simply require more power a huge box and a **** load mire port area..
