whats a good punchy midbass driver

Looking for a good midbass driver to complete my other setup. I looked around the forum and couldn't really find what I was looking for I guess. I want a really natural and clean sounding driver. its going to be a 2 way setup with a seas lotus refrence tweet. price = 300 bucks max and size 6.5 or bigger. Any ideas.
