I'm looking for something reallllly nice, maybe doubel DIM, or with gps and all the bells and whisles. i kind of want blue tooth, and i need all the pre amp outputs for sub and speakers. so what is everybody using? i'm also looking for quality just not fetures, so waht is the best for fetures and what is the best for power and quality ? i'm some what parcial to pioneer. but meh

thats beastly, I was wondering what other kind 300-600$ unit's their were :\ foolish fo me not to request a price peramiter, didn't expect somoen to show me something full balls to the wall off the bat O_O what's the best unit for music right now? and I was wondering about maybe having a unit with a built in HD that i could put music on. that would be a massive + //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

the more features you want the more you will pay, and you seem to want everything. that won't happen in your price range. go browse crutchfield or sonic and figure out what features you are willing to pay for.

I'm accualy like the fetures of this head unit, it's pretty good looking IMO, never heard of the brand though. scares me but it has eveyrhting, even gps, but you need an upgrade. i doubt i'll get it, don't really care about the gps.

it's pretty sleek looking, and really cheap for the fetures, even has a touch screen. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif and the res looks good on it.

quick question, if i were to put an equalizer in it, say somehting simple like this. as far as i can tell, i only need 1 set of rca's, and the equalizer eqpears to split the signals up inside, am i correct in this conclusion i've come to?

I think I'm liking this unit, it's eclipse and it's got very good reveiws. good fetures for sound quality, 7 band equalizer. bluetooth, simple user interface, good solid looking parts. I think this is what I'm gonna go with.

that alpine is ok if you amplify it, nothing special

what alpine did with their ipod decks is not put in a cd mechanism and charge you same price because its the "NEW IPODZ ONLY SHIT!!!"

it costs them less money to manufacture and more profits...

that alpine is an empty box inside...

So you went from looking at some Fahrenheit unit to looking at the 7200MKII? That's a pretty big jump in quality. The 7200MKII is probably one of, if not the best SQ HU on the market right now, in America.

I'm a quick learner what can i say :p

think throwing an equalizer with lowpass filter's would be tripple redudant with the one's built into the head unit, and the one's build into the amp its self? it seems like that 7200mkII is gonna be a pretty large pain tune in it's self, equalizer's probobly not gonna do not enough more to even be noticed?

If you go with the 7200MKII, there's no reason at all to get another EQ to run along with it. It's got a 7 band parametric EQ. If you run it active, it's got an 11 band parametric EQ. The crossovers it supplies don't need anything to compromise them either.
