Whats a Good Head Unit

alpine 9855 pioneer 880 alpine 9835 alpine 7998(get this if you can find it on ebay) should be able to for under 350.

there are plenty out there look at those tho

I've never had any experince with Alpine but I have been had my eye out on them. I will check those out

that alpine 7998 is interesting, i haven't done to much research into H/U's never seen a h/u without a internal Amp that you need external amps just to hear anything

You speak of eclipse, if you're wanting to chuck out some extra coin you can get a 7200 which is sure to be a fantastic unit. What are you wanting out of this? What features do you use/value?

Unless the 7200 has a poor interface and USB noise like the 7100...

Those are my main concerns with it, I'm debating purchasing one right now... I will have either the CD7200mkII or 880PRS by monday.

I would not imagine they deviated from the previous interface and design that much.

i'm just looking for a good h/u , i've never ventured outside of kenwood so i've never experienced the other brands and want some good opinions, lookin to build a nice system around it i guess i'm looking for good quality
