whats a good antivirus software to use?

Im trying to shake some kind of trojan/virus on my computer. I reformatted, and its still there (im guessing its somewhere in my external files that i transferred back onto my puter.

Anyways, it makes it appear at firefox.exe is always running (even if its not), and makes wowexec.exe (actual file i need) appear on the task manager. From googling it, seems a trojan is the main cause of this from a file cmd.com (which is also on the list)

anyways, im lookin for a good antivirus software to give my files a good cleaning.

any reccomendations?

Ahh... that one.

Get Avira AntiVir Personal. It'll yank that bish out in a sec.

Also get SpyBot and let it use TeaTimer... that it notifies you every time something tries to change a Directory.

NP. I had that one, and HiJack This couldn't even find it. WEll, I couldn't find it in HiJack this... Avira got that and like 5 other hidden trojans away.

I told you, man. It's tight work. I let it run. It scans all the files you download for Viruses. It's already stopped me from getting like 5. That + TeaTimer is a dope combo.
