Whats a good amp for 2 15" Type-R's, around $500

Well, since my xx-hercules took yet another sHit on me, and now i gotta wait for warranty crap again, i think im going to go ahead and buy a new amp with the refund/sell the new herc i get back. Figured this would be a good opportunity to try new stuff/possibly go bigger.

Well, the type-R's are RATED at 750rms a piece, but can take much more. The hercules was a pretty good matchup, so i need something 2000+RMS, 1 ohm stable, and around $500 or cheaper. What yall got for reccomendations? i would love to hear about personal experience of some of the higher end amps

Orion 2500D would be more than enough for your R's

that seems to be the popular choice, and wouldnt mind one myself. They are pretty hard to come by brand new now tho arent they?

ttt, so far im leaning towards either the Orion HCCA-D5000, Kicker 2500.1, or the Orion 2500D

There is a Member selling MA amp that is modified to handle lower ohm loads. Puts outs lots of power Here is the link for it.

whats the difference between the KX2500 and the ZX2500? are either of them stable at 1 ohm?

They both have the same boards with minor changes. They can play music at 1 ohm (mine does) but they heat up quicker.

A kicker 2500.1, orion 2500d, rockford t20001bd are all good choices but i would go with the rockford amp to be different, and man that thang is underated too.
