If u have the money,definitely pick up a saz3000. If not, u can always find orion 2500d's for under 400 u just have to search very deep.

he obviously has the money, so i don't think u'd have to worry about that. But throwing out other options isn't bad. Search for one of the MTX amp that has been discontinued, they were going for a good price.

After bumping Hix's 3000d and mentioning Orion 2500Ds, I will also mention my Stetsom 2k6d. I have not benched it because I don't have the equipment. That said these are the ratings from Stetsom:

I am running it right now at 0.5 ohm daily, so I know it will handle 1 ohm, but I have no idea how much power you will get. My guess? Somewhere between 3kw and 3.5kw on a solid electrical. It's not really for sale, but considering your budget I may be willing to redo my system....again.
