Yep, a few people have had glue issues. Happened to TFade during a test, check it out:

Yeah, it just all depends at how sundown will take care of me. My sundown zv4 are great subs, just a glue flaw. Those tantrics look great too but like I said, if they take good care of me then Ill gladly stay with sundown. lol

I agree, for them to thermally take as much power as you were giving them that's a feat. But I would expect subs that expensive to not have issues, least of all with the quality of glue.

But your choice man, just lettin ya know there is a probably better solution for cheaper...*cough* HDD's *cough*

That sucks man. My two brand new 12" zv4 surrounds became unglued off of the baskets with around 2 hour of total play time. I managed to save one, but the other one didn't turn out so good. So I shipped one of my zv4's and my ns-1 amp(goes into thermal protect right out of the box) to them. They missed the first attempt on the zv4 sub today. But if they take care of me, Ill be happy.

IMO it's a miracle you don't hear about more problems with that NS amp. Those far east "7K" amps are horribly unreliable IMO.

Interesting that as soon as manufacturing goes to China the subs start falling apart. Shame about that, you don't hear about this sort of thing with subs assembled in US of A. If it were me I'd buy a motor and frame and assemble my self to make sure it's done right. Those 6 year old Chinese kids are slacking.
