whatcha think? w/ picture

that piece is to guide the air flow to the port opening. which i think flared on both ends would be a good idea. im shooting for a loud and efficent sq enclosure.
My understanding is that the sub pressurizes the entire box, so the air has NO place to exit other than the port. If so, then I see no advantage to "guiding" the air towards the port that drastically. Pure speculation on my part of course.
