Well I don't know about that design...but I looked up the hellboy and that looks like something I want to try.

I like how it doesn't take up alot of space but gets loud enough for my needs.

your just using up internal volume with that long angled piece...

that piece is to guide the air flow to the port opening. which i think flared on both ends would be a good idea. im shooting for a loud and efficent sq enclosure.

No, but the page I found said 143dB on the dash at 35 HZ on the tl with two SoundSplinter 8” Rl-i series woofers , and that is plenty for me.
