whatcha all think for am 15"

ok, i know what kind of subs there are and whats good and whats not, so dont tell me to "go check out ED". Anyway, I kinda decided to try a single setup. I think I want a 15 because I have never had one, and thought it would be fun, also probaly a little better for comp's. Whats a nice daily driver / competition 15" for about $400>? I would just like to see what you all think. I was looking at better audio D2, looks awsome, but I think there might be a wait on them. Also, I have 1200 watts to throw at it. About 60-70% SPL.... thanks guys.

isnt the A out? Loyd told me everyone that ordered one has one. I was really thinking brahma, cause i know its loud, and SQ, which i can take, as long as its a solid sub.

Well, i was just tossing out ideas. Trying to get some other brands in the mix. I figured XXX would be his best bet for all out competition, while Brahma and A will have some more SQ.

All 3 have very nice SQ potential, as well as SPL...

Just look at Scottie Johnson....

Oh, i know that, but he was looking at 60-70% SPL, so i figured XXX. I figure all have nice SQ and SPL, but which has the most SPL?

In optimum circumstances, probably the XXX...but you probably won't notice a difference...

I think the hcca would surprise you with it's SQ abilitly!! I think a lot of people haven't actually heard one and somewhere along the line they got tagged as (all out spl subs)

what new HCCA is there? A guy at a shop said they have a new one and he doesnt have it yet. I'm guessing by the looks of the shop, it came out a while back, but i dunno?!

theres the new H2...havent heard it so I wont comment, but it looks to be pretty promising. As far as the HCCA goes, its a ver nice sub with a lot of capabilities. They can get loud, very loud, and provided that you have a decent enclosure, they can hold their own in terms of SQ, although the brahma and A probably do a better job at it.
