whatamp to use on two JL 12w3's

How much watts should i use on these two subs. Preferrably a 2 channel. Wil a thousand watt amp blow these subs? I know its 250 RMS each..but its 600peak. I was thinkin also maybe an 400x2 amp.(800watts)

jbl 600.1 (less expensive)

memphis 500d or 1000d (more features)

jl 500/1 (is just a mack daddy phat amp with good sq and features)

I have 2 12w3's and I use a 500a2 on each one but one of them would do the trick just fine. Or a 800.2 if you wanted to give them some more power. But for the price of a 800.2 you can get a JBL 1200.1 amp. There are some good options.

Dude its very hard to blow these subs seen people running a bd1000.1 on them with no prob i had a Jl500/1 on my 2 12w3 subs hit 142 dbs sounded awsome amp is perfect for the subs.
